"Hands Against Your Eyes" 8x11 oil on paper

new for me. always on a canvas, never on paper...a good experience. the paper took hold of the paint. lately i find myself wanting to shift gears, wanting to experiment. learning new techniques - just need to be open and willing.

it is hard for me to put into words...emotions within me flowed onto canvas.  nine circles represent the lives lost, a birds eye view of the neighborhoods of charleston, the sweep blue uniting.
