Painting today on the back porch was 104*. Had to call it a day @ noon. (course the day did start out quite early...taking Ricky to the airport @ 5am, ran the bridge during sunrise(everyone should get up that early to witness the beauty!) then home to paint). Name inspired by R. Frost poem; Birches.

painted late into the evening...started as a cottage in the bahamas...scraped!! the 2nd attempt was a landscape...boring...scraped!! feeling frustrated, changed the music and was determined to put paint to canvas.
stayed with muted colors (suiting my mood - after 2 failed attempts). i'm pleased.  the photo does not do it justice.
will re-shoot tomorrow in natural light.  re-shot done
