"Different is Good" 10x20 oil on canvas

This one is going to Columbus, Georgia for the show "Let There be Art" happening in April. Changed my mind...I'll be keeping this. NFS

I was painting yesterday in my studio, aka-my back porch, my appendages were so cold, I actually started shaking at one point!  I have, as of late built up many unfinished works...basically because of a couple of health issues, which I am so relieved to say I dodged a bullet!  Still managing one...but age is not reversible.

My point. Being so cold makes you paint without over thinking.  Hence, my "different" painting.

"Fore" Previously painted and posted 11x14 oil on board

I painted this during a workshop with Ian Roberts last November in Kiawah.  After a few weeks of "breathing it in" I added more paint over the shapes.  A view from one of the golf holes on The River Course.  "Do you know what fore means?!"

I'm giving this one up and sending it to The Columbus Museum for the April 2014 "Let There be Art" Show.
