Started with the Wednesday plein air group.  A view from my front yard looking across Center Street towards the empty lot.  Apparently they are "breaking ground" in the next few months!  With my artistic license I have worked it into a piece for the CAC October theme "Fauvism".  Available 10/1/11.

I started to paint this a few years back.  Went back in and added another layer of paint, then another and still some more!  I'm happy now.

"Fore" 12 x 14 oil on linen covered birch board

I painted this during a workshop with Ian Roberts last November in Kiawah.  After a few weeks of "breathing it in" I added more paint over the shapes.  A view from one of the golf holes on The River Course.  "Do you know what fore means?!"

I'm giving this one up and sending it to The Columbus Museum for the April 2014 "Let There be Art" Show.
